Pros

- Location is close to a mall, lots of options if you want to makan outside - Lots of different events and experiences - Bonus pay for Christmas, Chinese New Year, etc. - Company Christmas dinners at fancy places

Cons

- Highschool level politics and bickering. Everyone likes to talk behind each other's back - SUPER CINA company. If you are a Malay or Indian, don't even bother applying cause they'll happily smile in your face while talking bad about you in Mandarin - Big boss spends like 90% of his time out of the office. Second big boss only cares about money and has zero respect for anyone else. She will treat you like a dog and expect you to do everything she says without any questions or hesitation - They will fire you, then demand that you sign a document saying that you choose to resign - You know how they add a "handle other tasks as needed" line to your contract? That basically means that the boss will expect you to spend hours carrying stuff, moving stuff around, etc. even if your official job has nothing to do with it - The company also organises events, which you will have to help with even if you've got other work that needs to be done. Expect to spend hours packing gift bags and signs and driving it all over to the event venue because the bosses are too cheap to hire a professional moving company - Boss is also too cheap to hire an actual event organizer or MC, so guess who gets to do all that stuff on top of their normal work?

Pros

Good pay, nice colleagues, nearby facilities are very convenient

Cons

Management puts quantity over quality, overworks employees - esp the writers. That's why they either leave or get stopped - due to exceptionally high standards that almost nobody is capable of meeting. 0 empathy for employees: if you have some kind of illness, they will terminate you because they're afraid it will "interfere with your job performance". All you care about is money, you don't care about the welfare of your employees. You think people are robots that can sit down and churn out 3 articles per day without inspiration and proofreading+editing. Also, if they have a problem with you, they tell others instead of telling you. Rather glad when I got retrenched. Good luck trying to find new writers that will even stay for half a year with these criterion I just mentioned.
