Pros

Acorn Technology Services is easily one of the best MSPs in the country and a phenomenal place for professionals to thrive. Between the 100% remote work flexibility and industry-leading healthcare, the employee-first approach here is unmatched. Huge thanks to Umar Irshad and Craig Wolynez for their fantastic, cooperative management style. And a special thank you to my Director, Armand Salmon-your leadership, understanding, and constant support make it a privilege to be on this team every single day. Pros

Some co-workers are great, but frustrated and stressed.

Cons

Multiple C-Suite titles with no direction. Stressful and unreasonable workload. No work life balance, they expect you to be available around the clock since the work is remote. Meetings are unprepared time traps a stage for blaming and pointing fingers. Upper management is ego centric and dismissive. Lack of transparency with employees and customers. Mostly overseas employees leading to miscommunication with co-workers and customers regularly. Prides themselves on certification and organization without actually having certifications and company wide organization. Lack of internal security measures Mismanaged and unqualified HR department. Toxic work culture, everyone blames each other, lack of trust and verification. No accountability for C-Suite and management. Closed door policy. Compensation bait and switch without proper contracts and documentation. Constant organizational changes by upper management without notice and training to employees.

Taken a turn for the worse

Pros

Only good part was some of the people I worked with. Old management was very caring towards employees, but unfortunately that does not apply to new management.

Cons

I left last year when things got unbearable. Wasn't going to leave a review, but that last review was clearly made by someone in Management so now I felt compelled to. I find the review extremely disrespectful and inappropriate which is not surprising. When I worked there it was a common occurence to the point I hated meetings and receiving their emails. They also clearly are not taking any of the criticism to heart. New management made it clear they see their employees as cogs in a machine and not people.
