      No projects, don't join

      Pros

      - some consultants are very helpful and encouraging with abundant knowledge - you may get decent package depending on negotiation skills - values of CEO are commendable. He has vision but middle management makes it impossible to reach

      Cons

      This is an ever-growing list: - As of today they have 3 to 4 projects only. All support with no new development. With a strength of 40 people, 4 projects are barely survivable - You'll be asked/forced to join Malad client, irrespective of your location in Mumbai ! You don't have any say in this. - Data science team at UK got disbanded. So now all we have are traditional ETL and Visualisation developers - They keep on recruiting people as attrition rate is high - False UK promises while joining. - Half of them are born and brought up in Acrotrend. Hence they don't have any knowledge about methodologies and processes to follow and maintain. - Since you don't have project, you'll be forced to do irrelevant assignments, failing which your variable money will be deducted - No canteen/pantry - Dull office environment - 1 single washroom each for gents and ladies

      Pros

      There is no good reason to work in Acrotrend. Before joining please check with the ex-employees.

      Cons

      No Work Culture. No good Pay. Thinks people are labors. Would ask you to work 24 hours in a day and then also it would all be below their expectations. No work life balance, they need to understand what is that. If there would have been negative rating, i must have given that.

      Beware of false promises related to UK visa

      Nothing that I can think of.

      Cons

      > False promise while hiring to provide UK tier 2 general visa. After joining they would ask to travel on business visa only and would ask to work from Mumbai office > Very few client base, so is very risky for any one to work as they can downsize anytime if they loose a single client. > Very monolithic, old and maintenance work.

      We appreciate that you recognize the fact that we arranged for you to travel on Business Visa, while Tier 2 was promised to you at the time of recruitment. We would also like to draw your attention towards the issues that the Indian migrants and businesses were facing across the industry as an impact of the reduced quota of migrants from the past 7 to 8 months. Had you stayed back a bit, your tier 2 would have got through as the limits on the quota have now been released and everyone else who was waiting has got through. This would then falsify your statements of making false promises while hiring; which is against our values and ethics.
