      Really going downhill

      Pros

      Benefits are great! Also, the people are fantastic; truly, have never had better coworkers.

      Cons

      Unfortunately, ActBlue has turned into a very toxic work environment. Any constructive or corrective feedback is discouraged. In fact, if you're not careful, giving feedback to the wrong person could cost you a lot. If you're thinking of applying for a management role here...DON'T. Managers are treated the worst here and are used as scapegoats by department/org leadership.

      Huge egos and uncertainty

      - Good mission (supporting Democracy and all) - Work is fully remote - Work/life balance is mostly good

      Cons

      - Work is reactive and not well planned, if management says "this is important" you have to drop everything and do that thing - Leadership have fragile egos and respond poorly to feedback - Technical stack is old and hard to change without affecting all teams, it's quite old and crufty - There's no way to quantify risk tolerance, so things rarely change because people are afraid for their jobs if they make a mistake

      benefits - good mission - great coworkers - snack box

      Cons

      HIGH TURNOVER leadership is toxic and incompetent and regional directors don't know the basic functions of associates jobs and yet blame associates for their incompetencies leadership gets so defensive when they are asked a simple question even if it is for clarification performance reviews are incredibly biased and the leadership has favorites that all happen to be white.. it seems BIPOC staff are held to a different/unfair standard than their white colleagues
