      Pros

      It’s a very rewarding role, working with pupils and volunteer tutors. Everyone at Action Tutoring is working towards the same goal, which is wonderful.

      Supportive company Great hands on experience of project management and volunteer coordination Progressive and ambitious charity

      Cons

      The siloed working of programme coordinators sometimes felt quite isolating. Limited progression opportunities (however they have since introduced senior PCs) You have to be very good at time management to facilitate work load.
