Pros

Located in Farringdon (Hatton Garden) some nice places to eat and can gaze at some amazing jewellery on your lunch break - Thats it! Potentially can earn good commission if all the stars align Some of the people who work there are ok.

Cons

Toxic culture. Fear Mongering. Clueless, arrogant rude and racist CEO. 5 days in the office. Good luck if you think you'll only work your contracted hours. Product is not the greatest. Will Drain your soul.

Cons

A sales role at Acumen Media (formerly TBD Media) is a high pressure role where the culture is built around a fear of being fired if you don't exceed targets. There is no recognition, enablement and appreciation in this role, whilst the training program includes a one week crash course and you are left to figure things out for yourself after this - you might get an occassional motivational speech from the CEO but nothing that is actually beneficial to developing or refining your skills. There is definitely no team spirit or welcoming atmosphere at Acumen, the entire office is divided and people tend not to mingle or collaborate - the sales floor is truly a free for all. Also, contracted hours are from 8:30 till 5:30 but there is a weird office atmosphere, which is fuelled by the CEO, to guilt trip you into staying past 6 as standard but 2/3 days per week will go from 8:30 till 7/8 with nothing to compansate or incentivise. Of course, no one is physically stopping you from leaving on time but I witnessed many salesman get flagged and shortly after fired for doing so. Oh yeah, and it will be nothing short of a miracle if you make it past the 6 month probation period as most people are fired on week 3/4 of month 5 - I guess to keep costs low while they churn through a ridiculous amount of people. Bear in mind, I was one of 16 people to join since my arrival on a sales foor of 15, which was 15 when I joined and is still 15 today. Spare yourself some mental health issues and avoid this place.
