Pros

Great coworkers. The clients were typically good to work with as well. I can't complain about the benefits or compensation - they were definitely on par with what you'd expect from the industry.

Cons

Like many other reviews have said, the management was simply awful. The company went from having a great year - recovering well from bankruptcy - to literally falling apart. Our manager was fired for no obvious reason other than that upper management wanted to bring back someone they thought was better. He ran our department - especially our morale - into the ground. The first year or so that I worked for Adayana was great, but the last nine months were terrifying. They did three "restructurings," which included large layoffs, over the course of less than a year. There was no sense of stability, and the only focus was on project margin. No one cared about putting out a quality product. No one cared about what they were doing to their employees. It was a mess. I left shortly before the company basically went under, letting 35 people go and selling off the small remainder to another company. Good riddance.

Pros

Some of the reviews talk about Adayana's recent bankruptcy. The company has emerged in a much better financial position with new ownership and a new leader at the helm. Several recent events to note in the past month or two: - more focused strategy and clearer priorities - much better communication internally - considerable effort being made to retain and support employees - client relationships continue to be strong. While there have been some employee transitions, new team members are stepping up admirably. - The focus is moving back to its entreprenuerial roots -- serving our customers well and doing great work. Creative thinking is valued and appreciated now more than ever. Personally, I have always found Adayana a good place to work -- smart, committed people, interesting work, opportunities for those who seek them.

Cons

The bankruptcy was stressful, and we lost a few wonderful team members. It will take time to replace them. New owners are committed, though, to investing in Adayana's people.

Pros

Not for the faint of heart or slackers. You work hard and try to make a difference to our clients. It seems that 1 year at Adayana equals at least 3 years in corporate America and you get the opportunity to be exposed to many facets of the business. Not so in larger companies.

Cons

In turbulent times, communication suffers. Need to focus on enabling people, not just the numbers: tell the total story. Some of that is attributable to the company size, and changing market, but more innovation on how we go to market outside of our comfort zone.
