Dear Glassdoor Member, We appreciate your time to share your review. However, truth be told, we operate and function in the age of Instagram embracing the hottest innovations, latest advances and biggest technology trends of 2020-21. To illustrate our moot point, in the 12th Edition of Customer Loyalty awards by Kamikaze B2B Media –Mumbai, Adsyndicate was adjudged as winner of Most Innovative Technology award in the technology and innovation category. Pros

Work-life would be good as there is no pressure of work (because there is less work or no work) when compared to other ad agencies.

Cons

Old school thoughts and management. They don't know what they want and where they are going. They don't know the Industry practices at all and neither they're bothered about it. They never ever encourage the learning and development of their employees. They are only bothered about money, without any idea how to get it. Talented creative people will not survive here for a long time. They have no practice of participating in advertising awards as they have nothing to showcase for awards and most of their clients are PSU clients where they work for media commission and calendar printing at the end of the year, and no proper clients with retainer fee is there or are less. Being in the advertising industry, they still think working for more hours would improve their efficiency but still haven't realised the fact that working creatively and encouraging creativity is what they're missing for growth. Working more hours is considered a virtue for promotions. They consider Ogilvy, JWT, Mudra kind of companies as their competitors but in reality, it's something they are very very far from. They don't trust their employees and take their precious time for granted unnecessarily. There are no leaders in this firm and only managers with hefty 'designations' In spite of the above review, you might ask this question - if these many drawbacks are there, how are they still surviving? It's simply because they are a Manipal Group Company and they are very much funded and protected by their parent company. Even today, they need to introduce themselves as a 'Manipal Group Company' as they are still not known in the market even after 25 years.

Dear Glassdoor Member, It is unfortunate that you are disappointed with Adsyndicate’s style of functioning as your review suggests. However, we state here that our top creative heads appointed by our Management, have formerly served in A-listed advertising agencies and bring their wealth of expertise and experience to the table. Also, on our part, we pitch new client businesses and big accounts on a regular basis. Best regards Team Adsyndicate

Pros

"Company" in the hands of worst, greedy, brainless, spineless and inhuman people.

Cons

I really do not know from where to start. But still my fellow new candidate should know that, its better to stay jobless than joining Adsyndicate because " you can earn money elsewhere by working hard, but you wont get back your confidence which you will lose here and these mangers will make sure of that. HR here is for namesake because she repeats the one single line for every problem of an employee, like she will write here after i submit this review. ( LOL) Work culture is pathetic, these so called under-mannered managers will drain every last drop of your blood. You work and work and only work which is called slavery, these people carry this as a tradition. Business strategy - 1.Provide "special" benefits to few clients or you can say the only clients to retain them on board. 2. Terminate senior employees whom they name as "you're outdated" and hire new candidates and give them hefty designation and train them to abuse fellow employees to work, and if anyone complains they are simply forced to resign and not terminate, since they have to maintain their reputation. 3. STRICTLY NO FAMILY TIME will be given to you- 24hrs you have to work since your fellow manager thinks only he/she works for this company dedicatedly and not you. Your salary will be deducted anytime no written communication, your manager will call you anytime and say that company is in loss and your salary will be deducted. And the same deducted amount your manager will take as an incentive, which you worked for. See how professional!

Dear Glassdoor Member, We appreciate your time in sharing your review. However, you must know that advertising is a tough profession and to survive, you have to have your wits about you and the ability to think on your feet. Beneath the thin veneer of glamour, it is a hard-as-nails profession. Even hardcore professionals who sometimes don't fit the bill, 'burn out' very early in their careers. There are no cushy/easy going careers in advertising and no short-cuts to the corporate ladder. Survival in this industry and serving under the scrutiny of your superiors depends on a lot of tact, diplomacy and patience. Best regards Team Adsyndicate
