Pros

none, the company is a sinking ship. program funds are drawn down from federals accounts to cover operating expenses while the fields activities r paralyzed

Cons

everything, from the staff in survival mode (backstabbing, finger pointing....) to the hiring processes (friends, relatives...). CEO borrows endowments money to keep doors opened

Pros

You get a lot of experience and it's easy to pursue areas that interest you. You are not stuck in a "box" if you don't want to. In addition, field staff are dedicated and amazing to work with. Health insurance for HQ employees is 100% paid.

Cons

Management does not recognize or appreciate staff. There are not many opportunities for advancement in the organization. Systems are generally weak. There are sometimes dubious recruitment practices and you sometimes wonder how some staff members got their jobs with such limited capacity.
