Zero psychological safety. Incompetent people managers who do not have an idea which direction anything is headed, complete lack of transparency and trust. Nepotism. Promotions are issued based on tenure and not capability. Compensation vs employee expectations is laughable and bordering on criminal. Lower-level employees, no matter how skilled or driven, are often publicly treated like scum by higher level employees. Speaking out against unethical behaviour will see you silenced or threatened. Beneath the fake smiles and forced happiness are a haggard army of yes men and women. Zero team cohesion and little to no innovation. Afrihost hires people to follow orders, not to think for themselves.
