Management and HR are some of the most bias, unprofessional, insurance and fair working conditions illiterate people that i have ever seen and here are some examples. I was hired as an Auto Claims Adjuster for the DC area and I have zero experience doing Motorcycles and / or property's insurance and i was forced to handle both with zero experience but as long as i underpaid and even when they went besides the perimeters of my work contract agreement they got really mad at me for standing up to their bullying and unfair business model, which translates to doing business in bad faith in the insurance world. During covid management was so sincere and considerate that they cut back on all the, Independent Adjuster, and transferred the workload to us instead and expanded our territories and of course no PPEs or any regards to our safety or our families safety whatsoever, I have tested positive for Covid and my wife was deathly ill from it too and that is the reason why we are going after AIC legally for negligence on their all of their upper management and HR level with the consent and approval of the owner himself as documented in his end of month Friday morning meetings which i provided copies of to our lawyer. I was given a chance on a scholarship from my school and i was only missing my end of year Performance Evaluation for the prior year and i was not given one until July and i was told by senior manage that they are busy and i can write something up myself. Lastly, there was some unfair pay structure in their end of year bonus payout and here is how it went, a co-worker of mine admitted to me that he received about $7,000, after tax in bonus pay for his duties in an area that is not as challenging and not claim dense as DC and i was given less than $1,500. The long story short is that this organization is run by a very racist upper management that will go after their employees personally for asking for what they are owed for with the blessings of HR and the owners, i am still owed some money for some vacation time that they refused to compensate me for.

Corp office people seem to be pretty good, but they don't know what is going on in the claims office. The person in charge of the claims office divvies out bonuses with no real structure. If you get on her bad side, you wont get off of it. If you have any suggestions as to better the company, it is met with anger. The company makes so much money, but throws so much away on nonsense stuff. They hire 2-3 people then fire 1-2 people. If you are already fully trained, you should be good but then again, who knows b/c they do hold grudges. There is no training, no structure, no communication, just going with the flow. Upper management consists of one person who dictates the office and even the other managers are afraid of her. It's quite amazing that the corporate leadership hasn't reached out to talk to the remaining people at the company, to find out what needs to change.
