Terrible Experience

Pros

Lunch 3 days a week.

Cons

Poor management and HR that does not care about the people. The product is failing, can't actually be implemented. The culture is very controlled and "big brother" like. This is not a flexible Silicon Valley startup. Lack of direction and absolutely no career development.

Pros

-Glassdoor allows a minimum one star review. -Met some good people -Good location

Cons

-CEO has returned any favor he ever owed, with VC money. He hired many retirees and otherwise unemployable people at highly paid positions in the name of experience. -Fascination for French -Turkish family gets visas and greencards on false documents and employment history -Every other ethnicity is invisible to this management -Unequal and partially distributed benefits among employees -CEOs vision is ever changing. It is anything and everything that was talked about at previous nights networking "cocktail" event. -Someone tell the CEO continued education at Stanford does not equate to a legit Stanford degree.

Sorry that you've had a bad experience at AgilOne and I can respect different perspectives or perception but honestly, there's no need to try to hurt people or the company with lies.

Terribly managed company

Pros

A great vision and product, when the company first launched, there wasn't anyone else out there that could perform in the same way AgilOne could, but the big cloud providers have now caught up Free beer keg, as well as lunches provided 3 times a week.

Cons

The place really does appear to be the CEO's personal playground. Senior management creates little cliques for the people they like and totally alienate the people they don't. There is zero culture here. you are expected to work late, and if you are ever allowed to take PTO, you are expected to work remotely, even when on maternity leave. Very 'hire & fire' culture. The turnover rate is very high. CEO seems to shoot from the hip and make rash decisions (opened a UK office, closed it within a year) The product is difficult to implement, and a lot of clients leave within 12 months due to the very poor experience

Everyone is entitled to their opinion so I won't address those other than to wonder why you are still working here if it is so horrible. Makes me wonder if that claim is true. Some falsehoods I would like to address: You are not expected to work when on PTO, and certainly not just after having a baby. That is illegal and if even a portion of that is true in your case, you should raise that to HR immediately. 'Very hire & fire culture' - Not true. Engineering, for example has had many hires and no fires in the past year+. 'a lot of clients leave within 12 months' - Not true. Our churn rate is actually very low. If I am wrong and you really are a current employee I would suggest you raise these issue to your manager, HR or even me and let's address them and start making things better for you. But just bashing your company with unfounded lies while you continue to work here doesn't make much sense to me. Now stop reading glassdoor and get back to work :)
