Pros

See below for my review.

Cons

I'm assuming if you're familiar with Glassdoor, you can sense the patterns from companies that write fake reviews to up their ratings. Agile IT is a perfect example of this case. It is not a positive work environment. Management is not up front with the rest of their employees, and there is a sense of entitlement among those close (personally) to the CEO. We hired a group of new people just to lay them all off a few months later, and I am scared for my job even after several meetings of "reassurance over structure". Simply put, I do not trust upper management. This is not a company worth your time, and I can assure you that you will be much happier finding a place of employment elsewhere, as I am currently trying to do.

Good and Bad - true

Pros

The people there are generally nice, and work hard to do what they do. Ability to work from home when needed and company phones and good health benefits. The IT Director is very good. I agree with both the good and negative things that have been posted.

Cons

Unprofessional conduct from CEO. There is no excuse to scream at people and call them names, in a start up or elsewhere. Respect and self-control have nothing to do with company size.

Thank you for taking the time to review our company on Glass Door. We take pride in all of our employees as they partner with us to work towards a common goal, and we are glad that you have recognized this as one of our strengths at Agile IT. However, we have never had an IT Director position which was stated in your review. As a weakness, you had written there was “unprofessional conduct from CEO” that involved screaming at people and name-calling. In reality, our CEO has very minimal interaction with employees and has not managed our employees since 2012. Our CEO has never directed his comments to anyone personally - as an organization that has migrated hundreds of enterprises to cloud with 100% success, he is demanding of a job well done and will only comment when the work itself is done incorrectly. Such characteristics are not welcome at Agile IT, as we value the opinions and contributions of everyone who works for us. Screaming and name-calling violates our company’s mission and values, and would be called out immediately by our leadership team. Your comment regarding Agile IT’s years in service is incorrect. Although we have experienced amazing success by being named Partner of the Year by Microsoft for the past 5 years, it did not take 10 years to build our achievements. Agile IT incorporated in 2010 with our first employee and has successfully doubled up each year since then. We appreciate you taking the time to write a review on our firm; however, due to the inaccuracy on the items listed above, the review should not be considered valid. Regards, Agile IT

Pros

Team lunches, free coffee, they'll point you to some good training that may or may not be paid for. Can be some good opportunity here if you're a hungry go-getter and willing to work hard. CEO is amazing with technology. Can be good place to learn about Microsoft and it's partners.

Cons

Total lack of transparency from management regarding the direction of your job. CEO has a HORRIBLE temper and can be very immature, should probably stick to just being a sr. architect. Core people have longevity, but all other staff turns over every couple of years. This place lacks the kind of on the job training, mentors and employee development that the most successful organizations have

Thank you for your honesty regarding your employment with Agile IT, and for taking the time to review us online. We take all reviews seriously in order to continuously improve on our branding, management methods and customer perspective. In some dynamic and progressive work environments such as ours, certain tasks can differ from what is listed in a job description. Although we try to keep job duties true to the position description, daily circumstances can fluctuate workloads time to time – something that can be found in practically any job role. We continue to provide a great learning experience that allows our employees to learn new techniques and solutions so they can further advance their careers. The number of paid days off is always stipulated in the employment contract, and they do increase as employees build longevity with us. For a start-up business, we are on par with what many other businesses offer across America. This will be something that can be reviewed and adjusted as the business expands. Thank you for your list of pros - in an energized work environment with a small but growing staff, we will continue to build a team-focused culture. We truly appreciate your comments and feedback. Best, Agile IT
