Pay is lower than some rival companies
Agria has to be dragged kicking and screaming into recruiting people. They constantly talk about growth, in all UK staff meetings the talk is constantly about growth. They spend millions on marketing, sponsoring every event under the sun, yet will not recruit. This means the existing staff are working themselves into an early grave trying to keep up with ever increasing volumes of work. It's no wonder many have had to take time off due to stress.
The CEO likes to portray an open door policy yet is actually not approachable at all. This is especially true if it is an issue that doesn't fit the narrative they like to portray that Agria is one of the best places in the UK to work.
Your feelings and issues don't matter. I mentioned some personal issues I was having one day and instead of thinking my manager may give me a slightly easier and more stress free day, I instead got an even bigger workload on top of the ton of work I was already doing.
Agria like to portray an united team, yet colleagues of different and the same departments will firstly go to your manager to point out a mistake that you make instead of firstly helping you with the issue.
