Rewarding place for ambitious professionals
Pros
I came from a competing consultancy and it is shocking just how much Aimpoint gets right. During onboarding they tell you that "Aimpoint is what you make of it." From day one this has been the case, and I've been working on projects that I'm interested in and upskilling in the tools I want to learn. There are countless opportunities and internal initiatives to get involved and really make a name for yourself. It's easy to just tell your mentor that you want to work on marketing content, or contribute to a partner channel, or attend a conference - these are all encouraged. No red tape. - Truly the best and brightest in data work here. Everyone is driven and willing to help - A true meritocracy. Contributions are actively acknowledged - At and above market pay, especially for hours worked - Fully covered healthcare, dental, and vision - Stock options - Truly unlimited PTO, and not just a marketing ploy - Surprising camaraderie for a fully remote company. In person retreat at the end of each year and several smaller meetups over the year for folks that are local to each other (mainly Atlanta, Chicago, Boston, and London).
Cons
As a smaller firm, some internal operations aren't entirely flawless. However, management has addressed and is actively working to improve these. Every weekly meeting management provides updates and these are constantly being ironed out.
