Pros

It is really difficult to think of any pros for this firm. I just can’t think of any.

Cons

Management is not doing a good job of managing the business or retaining their employees. The turnover rate is very high with people lasting only a few months in some cases. When feedback is provided to management - that feedback is ignored. Capacity is not taken into consideration when new cases are added. During my time at this firm, management would not hire additional help even though we were severely understaffed-no matter how much we asked. Staff were expected to work extremely long hours to get the work done with no consideration for their work life balance.

Pros

Mostly great co-workers who are eager to learn. The ability to work 100% remote.

Cons

Where do I start? Working at this firm was an incredibly disappointing and frustrating experience. The culture is deeply toxic, driven by ineffective and punitive management that fosters fear rather than collaboration. Constructive feedback is non-existent, and open communication is discouraged. Leadership operates in silos, and any attempts at cross-departmental collaboration are met with resistance or outright hostility. Most baffling is the role of the COO, who has NO prior law firm experience and lacks a fundamental understanding of how a legal practice functions AND the basics of immigration law. Despite this, the COO exercises disproportionate control over firm operations, often overriding experienced legal professionals and only focussed on spreadsheets. This has led to many poor strategic decisions, overworked legal staff, low morale, and a noticeable decline in the quality of services provided to clients. There is little to no support for professional development, and the environment is one where micromanagement and blame-shifting are the norm. The firm is more focussed on 'sales' than quality legal work product and client service. An extremely high turnover of the legal team is a consistent issue, which speaks volumes. If you're an attorney looking for a place to grow, collaborate, and do meaningful work, please look elsewhere.

Pros

Pros are the the positions are Virtual.

Cons

Everyone there acts like a gang of highschoolers. They constantly gossip about you and are very clickish. There is no training, no support, and a lack of structure yet you will be overloaded with work. If you have questions? figure them out as everyone is too overloaded with work to give a care. Very TOXIC environment
