This company runs the water/sewage system in Alexandria, VA and it's neighboring counties. They are the "poop factory" as some would say. The entire factory/plant deals with waste and sewage but also--the people inside are also pretty crappy. -Very low salary. I was 20k underpaid. Unbelievable. -Terrible management/leadership. This organization is supposed to be not-for-profit, but the CEO drives a brand new Mercedes Benz and they are building a brand new building for it's 20 something corporate employees. -The atmosphere here among the employees is volatile. Everyone is out to get everyone, and everyone is only there for themselves. There is zero sense of teamwork and camaraderie. It is vital to watch your back -- it is a group of people who will throw you under the bus as long as it brings them up. -This company does not care for it's employees. I've sat in round table meetings where leadership pretends to listen, but then comes back with a defense for every request made by it's employees. What kind of company asks for suggestions just to break them down? -Overall terrible place to work.
