The company functions as a glorified pyramid scheme with leadership going out for beers daily while everyone else (chemists, lab techs) are hard at work, getting home late. One chemist was made fun of and harassed for taking a day off when there were personal reasons for doing so. This is the most toxic environment I have ever worked in.

No structure whatsoever, constantly gaslights the employees and gives false promises even when talking to the senior leadership. It's a sink or swim type of environment and kiss *** type of culture. If you need training don't expect to get it from leadership. Constant talk about politics causing a toxic workplace environment.
