Working here is highly misleading compared to the job description and interview. Though it's technically a receptionist role, expect extensive kennel cleaning and dog handling, often resembling kennel or grooming assistant duties. Safety hazards are prevalent, with no fire alarms, smoke detectors, or emergency plans in place.
Racism is tolerated and even encouraged, which is surprising given the presence of diverse employees. Breaks are not permitted; taking multiple bathroom breaks can lead to disciplinary action for "wasting time." Favoritism is rampant, with certain employees getting away with anything, while management dismisses concerns and talks down to those who speak up.
Main groomers are disrespectful, frequently projecting their emotions and yelling at dogs, despite knowing dogs can't understand them.
Micromanagement is extreme, with constant surveillance through cameras. There is no incentive to perform well, only belittlement for not meeting exacting standards. Health concerns, especially for immunocompromised individuals, are disregarded.
