Pros

I sadly have nothing positive to say about this company, except for meeting a small handful of nice people.

Cons

- Minimal potential for career growth. - No professional development. - No pay rises (I’ve been here almost 2 years and have done plenty of work outside of my role) - Spoken down to by people frequently when it’s not deserved or needed

Pros

Fancy Morning Tea's, (Just so they can take pics and post it). COMPANY VALUES ARE GREAT... ON A PIECE OF PAPER

Cons

Seems that working beyond regular hours has become an expected practice within the company, and unfortunately, this extra effort is not recognised or rewarded in any way, leaving employees like me feeling undervalued. (Only time they share words of appreciation is when you hand a resignation letter in and they try keep you). The workplace culture is severely tainted, characterised by pervasive gossip and backstabbing behavior, which appears to permeate the organisation, starting from top management. More then often management establish unrealistic expectations and expect it to work. Management don't support you or offer you guidance. Management put people in leadership roles however just give a title and no authority. RESPECT. We accept the responsibility as a group and as individuals to prevent situations that jeopardise the health and safety of everyone at our workplaces. SOLIDARITY. COURAGE. HUMILITY. CONVIVIALITY. Respect vs. Overtime Expectations: While the company's values may include respect, the normalization of unpaid overtime suggests a lack of respect for employees' time and well-being. The failure to compensate for extra effort can be seen as undervaluing the dedication and hard work put in by employees, which is incongruent with a value of respect. Solidarity vs. Toxic Workplace Culture: A culture of gossip and backstabbing runs counter to the value of solidarity. True solidarity involves supporting and standing by one another, but a toxic culture erodes trust and unity among employees, creating an environment of division rather than solidarity. Courage vs. Hesitancy to Request Flexibility: The value of courage may be at odds with the difficulty employees face when requesting flexibility, particularly when dealing with personal matters or health issues. A culture that makes it challenging for employees to request such accommodations suggests a lack of courage in addressing the need for a more compassionate and flexible work environment. Humility vs. Unrealistic Expectations: If the company frequently sets unrealistic expectations, it can indicate a lack of humility in recognizing its own limitations and acknowledging that employees have finite resources and capabilities. Humility would involve a more realistic assessment of what can be achieved without causing excessive stress and burnout.
