No pro, no matter how hard you worked, it’s all about favouritism.

Pros

-Creative Dir. is a talented designer and the design team seem to be very dedicated, kind individuals. It is very interesting to work along side them and watch a collection come to life. -If you are chasing a job where you'll meet celebrities and fashion world bigshots, you'll find them here. They will treat you with very little respect, but you'll find them.

Cons

-Marketing leadership is toxic and borderline abusive. Was warned on my first day that Marketing leadership was a nightmare, and it unfortunately proved true. -Sink or swim atmosphere; offers for guidance or help are snarky and clearly backhanded, junior employees work in a relatively small office in fear of their supervisors who are too busy with their own work (not necessarily their fault) -Top management (CEO, creative director) are kind people but either have their heads in the sand, or purposefully turn a blind eye to the reasons for the high turnover rate and tension between employees -Genderless line of clothing is marketed and conceived by people who use fatphobic, transphobic language behind closed doors. While I think there is good intent from the top down, the result is far from inclusive or genuine. -Office more of less functions like a poorly run retail store (I have experience)

Pros

Yes you can work at the place with zero pay and respect. If you want to lower your self-esteem and feel how is it like to be treated like trash, this is the place to be! It's not even like a big famous brand that you would be willing to be humiliated. They even have a rule that non-employees can't even enter from the front door. The interns would have to sneak in through the back door like rats.

Cons

Tasks included(but not included in the job description) : taking down the boxes and taking out the garbage, answering the door, inputting data to the spreadsheets, building clothing racks, copying and pasting information. Super unorganized and everyone is full of arrogance thinking that they are all Anna Wintours ruling the fashion world. Mostly all -white environment, not too much diversity. There is no professionalism involved in the office. if this is an entry level job for you, then you are basically doing the job of a cleaning lady or volunteering at the nursing home for a bunch of self-complacent and arrogant mid aged women except that you don't even deserve a thank you or one dollar.
