Pros

It would have been an ok place to work for.

Cons

While the company possessed potential, it is important to note that the current top management, who holds decision-making authority, lacks significant business experience. Unfortunately, this deficiency has had adverse effects on the overall direction and progress of the company. As a result, the company is facing considerable challenges, which may impact its stability and growth in the long run. Considering these circumstances, I feel obligated to advise you against leaving your stable job to join this company. The lack of experienced leadership has resulted in a lack of job security and limited opportunities for personal and professional growth. Furthermore, any educational benefits promised by the company are unlikely to be approved or fulfilled. Based on these observations and the honest advice from current employees, it would be in your best interest to explore alternative career opportunities elsewhere. It is crucial to prioritize your future and seek an environment that offers stability, growth potential, and a supportive management team.

Chaos

Pros

Company had great potential to build a full-service CRO. High level roles have a challenge to build out the infrastructure. This is a great learning opportunity for entry-level roles. Those that I worked with directly were great.

Cons

Leadership was chaotic; they developed highly ambitious expansion goals that fell short. The result was frequent layoffs and high turnover. Below market salary, 3% raise, very small bonus (only 20% of employees could be above an average rating which impacted bonuses, year-end reviews were adjusted by managers). Some people worked 10+ hour days regularly and some worked way less due to poor forecast planning. Don't expect stability or loyalty, and don't expect an answer from HR once they've onboarded you.

Bonuses Delayed and Not Promised

Pros

Exposure to a lot of different processes.

Cons

The fact that our bonuses are not promised after I worked really hard tells me that this is a red flag.
