Pros

Highly Competent Team Colleagues are nice Reasonable equipment Amazing Products Actually good pay In theory actually really good coding conventions.

Cons

Unorganized, goals keep shifting and are not communicated. No real onboarding for new people (typically one week and then people need to be “productive”) No time for new people to acclimate to the environment Dr. able has a horrible tendency to micro manage. This is especially true for the time management, when I described it to a friend he called it “Stasilike”. Almost unbearably harsh language which is somehow mistaken for a flat hierarchy. According to practitioners of scrum or agile in general, the way it’s employed at ambrosys is not really scrum. For example sprints are often interrupted by other tasks. Worker drone mentality, I.e. issue after issue after issue almost no real creativity. Many newcomers are constantly under pressure and thus on edge. Errors by new people are almost not tolerated but older employees have a lot of leeway. Often unrealistic goals for newcomers for example when getting certificates (1 month certificates are often times expected to be finished after a week). The term ceo really does not apply here since it invokes the image of the head of the exec board. Changes in plans are often not communicated. Any pressure the management feels immediately passed down to the employees. Things are often taken personally or at least that was my impression. Worst, one is constantly reminded of the economical factor, at least I felt less treated like a person and more like an economical factor.

Pros

Intelligentes Team, super Professioneller Code

Cons

Dear Former Employee, Thank you for taking your time to share your insights about the working environment at Ambrosys. Constructive feedback, even when it highlights areas for improvement, is crucial for our ongoing growth and success. We would like to assure you that we take your concerns seriously, and we are committed to addressing the issues you raised. Your perspectives on poor management decisions, high-pressure morale, lack of effective communication, and compromised work-life balance are valuable to us, and we are actively working to create a positive change. Thank you for the kind words about development and career advancement opportunities we offer. As we consider our employees our greatest asset, we continue to offer each employee a specific amount of working time and budget annually to allocate for their own personal development. To specifically address the management decisions, we are conducting a comprehensive review of our decision-making processes. We understand the importance of transparency and fairness, and we are dedicated to making improvements that ensure better outcomes for everyone involved. Regarding work-life balance concerns, we are constantly revisiting our expectations and workload distribution. Our goal is to foster a work environment that encourages productivity while prioritizing the well-being of our team members. Apart from flexible working arrangements (core working time), to enable our employees to spend more time with their family/friends, we offer up to twice a year, up-to two-week mobile work without weekly office attendance day. Effective communication is fundamental to a healthy workplace, and we recognize that there is room for improvement in this area. We are currently working on new measures to enhance communication quality, including regular team meetings, feedback sessions, and open/anonymous forums for employees to express their thoughts and concerns. Creating an environment where every employee feels heard and valued is a top priority for us. Once again, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We encourage you to consider reaching out to us personally if you feel comfortable doing so. We value your input, are committed to maintaining open lines of communication and are open to further discuss your concerns in person. The points you have made from your perspective are taken seriously by us! We are sad that you couldn't have experienced the positive changes we have recently introduced. Best of luck!
