      Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Amec Foster Wheeler full-time for more than 5 years

      Pros

Positive engaging company, strong employer brand. Lots of opportunities for career advancement specifically international postings.

      Cons

Company is facing challenges due to limited work in the Oil and Gas industry and a slowdown in the resources sector which has lead to waves of redundancies. This has created an adverse culture within the company

      Advice to Management

Measure and report on employee engagement throughout the company and use this to analyse where hotspots of disengagement is occurring. Then analyse an implement improvements to create a more engaged workforce.

I have been working at Amec Foster Wheeler

      Pros

Used to be a great company, plenty of buzz, work going on, bought out Unidel and company is going down, not a nice place, too many "boys club" type attitudes

      Cons

Down turn in market, everyone is waiting around for the "tap on the shoulder" and their see you later $$$$.. Not healthy, no one cares anymore

      Advice to Management

      Communicate to staff

I have been working at Amec Foster Wheeler full-time

      Pros

Compensation slightly better than others in the industry

      Cons

Incompetent management who wouldn't have a chance of surviving in a better managed company. Employees are rewarded not on their performance, but by the relationships they have with the management.

      Advice to Management

Clean up the top management. Hire some competent people and treat employers fairly.
