The worst professional experience I had so far
Pros
- Nice office in the center of Barcelona with some nice perks - Team spirit and companionship
Cons
I'm not sure where to start or if it's worth to mention all the downsides of this company, as this comment most likely will be followed by a good review from a "current employee". To sum up: - Management: recognition, feedback, communication and transparency are a few of the key words you won't experience in this company. Most managers don't know the product or have no management skills, when it's not both, which makes your daily work difficult and frustrating. Not at all a people's first or caring mentality. - Flexibility: very little space to have flexible schedules and working from home, unless of course you are the manager! You constantly feel like you're under surveillance and what you do is still not enough. - Organization: lack of processes and specially not willing to take feedback on improving those processes, which is very sad and contradictory with a start up mentality. Also, a lot of interns and a high turnover, this last one resulting from the points mentioned above. I would add the fact that they do not care about your wellbeing. You can show big signs of stress and/or mental breakdown with no actions taken, even when you clearly share it with your manager. Unfortunately, this is the sad reality in this company that could have great potential.
