Pros

Like work from home option. Love working with our wonderful medical department. Like working with most of the field force and case managers.

Cons

I have never worked somewhere where I have been so micromanaged. Only care about the numbers. Person in charge of uw department has no uw experience and no respect for underwriters. New systems implemented way before they are ready and customer service means nothing. Takes an act of God to get a promotion or a raise. Systems very unreliable. Outsourcing of clerical work has made a total mess of every single file they touch!

The pay is good relative to my peer group across the industry. We receive a decent amount of vacation time and benefits.

Cons

It reminds me of working for a larger start-up. The systems are poorly managed. Salaried employees are treated like clock punchers (hourly).

None, really. Sad, sad company if you're an employee

Cons

Adults treated like children, micromanagement, salary is less than other companies. Really made a bad choice in accepting this job. Looking for a new place to work even if it's a cut in pay. I will never recommend this place to anyone I know for employment. Training, is a joke...mid-management makes poor decisions.
