Pros
- mostly friendly coworkers - some people can work remote - VTO (volunteer time off) - straightforward guidelines for assisting members - many self service options for members - sometimes you might get a half day during the week if you work a Saturday
Cons
- no growth opportunities - small raises (if any) and smaller bonuses - we’re unable to assist members to the fullest potential. Most of the times we have to make members do things themselves in the name of practicing self service but it would be easier and better customer service to do it ourselves rather than explain to members why we can’t do something - limited autonomy over your work, everything must be approved by a manager - micromanagement - no flexibility with scheduling - open for Christmas Eve and the day after thanksgiving - inconsistent banking platforms for members - low pay - lack of pay transparency
