Pros

They make quality products that you can feel good about selling (even if it is considered a commodity and not the easiest sell). Flexible schedule and pretty good life balance (unless your role adds in late hours on calls at night with China). You have the opportunity to make an impact because it's such a small place. My job was ever-changing and I like variety (but the company is not what it once was).

Cons

Small company with very limited resources and support (constant growing pains). Disorganization and lack of process, minimal coaching and training (be prepared to figure things out on your own), limited career movement. Lots of changes in ownership! Two extremes in the office, from quick turnover to people who tend to get comfortable and stay too long (myself included). It's not the healthiest corporate culture, and the company has struggled at times (add in layoffs and mass exits), but it can be a good stepping stone in consumer goods. There are more cons than pros.
