Pros

There is absolutely nothing worth praising about this place.

Cons

The superiors at Apex Leaders are a complete disgrace. The so-called leaders are cold, careless, and detached, showing zero concern for their employees. They make terrible decisions that lead to constant chaos and then shamelessly dump the blame on everyone else.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're truly sorry to read about the negative experience you had. It sounds like your time here may have been during a challenging period of high turnover we experienced a few years ago. We took that feedback seriously and have made significant cultural and structural changes since then. We've focused heavily on building a more supportive and collaborative environment. For example, we established several employee-led committees (including one for Culture and another for DEIB) to ensure everyone has a voice in shaping our direction. We also restructured roles to give team members more autonomy and break down the silos that could cause frustration. These changes have made a real difference. We've seen a significant drop in voluntary turnover, and our most recent eNPS score is 48 (compared to an industry average of 14). We were also honored to be named a Top Workplace for 2024 and 2025, an award based entirely on confidential employee feedback about our culture. We wish your experience had been better, and we are committed to continuing the progress we've made.

Management is biased. Hard work doesn't matter.

Pros

None. Management plays favorites, and employees stab each other in the back to get ahead of everyone else.

Cons

The only way you're going to be seeing any success here is by sucking up to the right people and having connections. It doesn't matter how talented you are or how hard you work, your efforts will be ignored because of how biased the leadership is.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We're concerned to read your perspective about favoritism and hard work going unrecognized, as that is the opposite of the culture we are dedicated to building. While this feedback seems to reflect an experience from some time ago, we have since implemented several key changes to ensure fairness and transparency. We established transparent pay philosophies and compensation bands based on market data, which are reviewed annually to ensure equity. We also created employee-led committees for Professional Development and DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging) to ensure all team members have clear paths for growth and a voice in the company. Our team's recent feedback shows these efforts are moving us in the right direction. Our current employee retention rate is 97%, and our Spring 2025 eNPS score is a 48 (the industry average is 14). We were also named a Top Workplace in 2024 and 2025, which is based solely on what our current employees say about working here. We are committed to being a place where hard work and talent are truly valued and recognized.

Biased Behavior Creates a Poor Work Ambiance

Pros

Some of the benefits they offered were decent enough. I particularly liked the health insurance they offered to all of us.

Cons

The people at the top clearly have a biased attitude. They pass on racist and sexist remarks as a joke and try to hide their true faces behind fake smiles and little lies. It’s awful to be at the receiving end of their biased behavior. I wouldn’t recommend this workplace to someone with self-respect who can’t tolerate rude behavior.

Thank you for your feedback. We are very concerned by your comments, particularly the allegations of racist and sexist remarks. We want to state clearly that this type of behavior is not tolerated and has absolutely no place at Apex Leaders. While this review seems to describe an experience from several years ago, we have since formalized many policies to ensure we are fostering a respectful, inclusive, and equitable environment for everyone. A key part of this has been establishing an employee-led DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging) committee, which works directly with leadership to guide our culture and policies. We have also implemented transparent compensation bands based on market data to ensure fair and unbiased pay. Our team's most recent feedback reflects this positive shift, noting our collaborative and supportive culture as a primary strength. Our commitment to this has been reflected in our recognition as a Top Workplace for both 2024 and 2025—an award based entirely on employee feedback—as well as our 97% employee retention rate. We are sorry you had this experience and are dedicated to ensuring our workplace is one where every team member feels respected and valued.
