Pros

Best foot soldiers you'll ever work with

Cons

Leadership doesn't understand the product. Leadership only cares about profit. Leadership doesn't share profit, but thinks telling us that Apiture is going to make billions so we should work overtime for 3 months straight is good motivation. Leadership doesn't know the names/roles of foot soldiers, and there aren't even 100. Leadership sells products that the team has clearly articulated they can't deliver on. Politics are worse than any company I've ever been at. Everyone is underpaid because of Wilmington doesn't have

Pros

Good benefits and good people

Cons

1. Very underpaid, they ask a lot and give little compensation in return. You can take the same position at another company and easily get 30-40% more in salary. 2. Leadership/management has a bad habit of hiring their buddies from past jobs; just because you know someone doesn't make them talented or a good leader. 3. Promotions are given to a$$kissers, purse those lips to them cheeks and you're in

Pros

Good health insurance. A few pockets of great people. Great access to Live Oak campus.

Cons

The culture here used to be top-notch, but took a sharp decline in the past couple years when leadership started exerting power and stopped listening to anyone not in their ivory tower. As a result, these 2 execs took a company with great talent and ambition and flipped it on its head - by only caring about personal profit and surrounding themselves with "yes men", they killed the culture, drove out the talented contributors, and ironically squandered their chance at success. It's truly a shame, but this company is a shell of what it used to be.
