Pros

The residents were good, some of the staff were helpful and good to work with.

Cons

The phrase "nurses eat their young" is the mantra there and management has no interest in integrating new nurses with the long termers. using the phrase "hostile environment" would not be inaccurate. HR and management had no interest in improving the working conditions. HR danced around any benefits such as healthcare, 401k by no replying to inquiries in a timely manner, claiming deadlines had passed etc etc.

Pros

Apple Rehab is home to some amazing people. The staff are friendly and helpful. Most of them are willing to give a helping hand when it is needed. It is common for nurses here to help out CNA's with transfers and other quick tasks. Everyone is super helpful!

Cons

They are often short staffed. There is not a large turnover, but when you do not want to do your job, the consequence is termination. This company, like every other, needs people who are WILLING to work. Being a CNA can be a hard job, no matter what company you work for.

Pros

The Nurses, CNAs, Housekeeping, and Dietary keep that place going. Got a good group of people who know the people they care for. Always available hours. Always hiring.

Cons

The staff are not paid enough especially the CNAs when the patient to aid ratio is very disproportionate. The DNS and administrator turn over is like a drive through their in and out in the blink of an eye so the rules are always changing not enough consistency. Unrealistic expectations of staff. Breaks are not a real thing it sounds nice but you eat when you can if you can very rarely get the half our meal break let alone the smaller 15s.
