HR department is a snakes den: big promises about great culture were never delivered: toxic behaviours among peers occur, I even remember seeing actual bullying going on in the office; frequent layoffs; "Senior" professionals not knowing what's going on and blaming newcomers for old issues, C level lacking common sense to say the least.

More or less all the promises I was given during the interview process, that motivated me to accept the position, were never delivered on. The culture is also pretty bad in my opinion - there is a clear divide between old and new employees making the environment fairly hostile towards newcomers. When mistakes were made, the response was always anger and blame instead of asking what went wrong - often the issue was not enough or wrong information. I left my position in less than a year.g
