Unfortunately poor management

Pros

Currently nonexistent. It’s unfortunate but upper management doesn’t care about employees just themselves and continue to promote who is on the it team.

Cons

Extreme micro managing with upper management. Some of management was born and bred at this company so no outside knowledge of real world. Treats employees like children such as watching when we come and go, what we are doing during the day...etc. there are some really good employees here but if your not on the “likes” of your manager it doesn’t matter your life is made to be difficult. Doesn’t use employees skills to their benefit. Seriously a sinking ship. Benefits are high no 401 k match.

Pros

There are nothing but expensive high end restaurants around to eat at, so you'll never have to worry about saving money on lunch again.

Cons

Everything about this place, and yeah, I mean everything. No benefits other than increasingly expensive and worse Healthcare. No 401k matching No bonuses Maybe, just maybe... Merit increase that's 1 % above inflation. If you're lucky. Long hours are expected and never rewarded. Anything to meet the deadline should be met with reward, instead it's 'what have you done for me lately' and get it done. How about no? They're always on a stupid deadline made because of rushed promises Always behind schedule. Always cutting corners and taking the easy way out design wise. Leaving technical debt to build for years that insurmountable. Turnover is ridiculous and employee burnout is a serious issue. Moral is non existent because of the management style and dwindling benefits. Management is only in it to retire and sail off into the sunset on the backs of their workers dedication. Mismanagement has killed this place and nothing is left but ineffective cronies. Management will tell you whatever they can to get more work out of you. Promise bonuses and never deliver, say they'll do nice things for the team and then move the goal posts. Management fires essential staff, overloads employees with extra duties for the same pay, and expects no change in output. Management is bad and never should have been allowed to run this company into the ground like they have.

Pros

Pay, benefits and not much else and yes so much else does matter

Cons

Practically everything. The protection of ineffective employees is rampant. Executives have sought out and found their pet employees from within and guard them viciously whether or not they benefit the company or put forth any effort.
