Scam of an "Investment Bank"

Get to put 'Investment Bank Analyst" on resume once you leave.

Cons

-Lack of ethics. Hardly any of Senior Management marked on the website even work there? -No actual Financial Modeling experience. These guys are practically brokers as they do mostly cold calling to illegitimacy small-middle market companies. -Realized once I left many PE shops & other banks do not take this role seriously. I normally am not the type to write on sites like this but after seeing the lies recently posted, I felt like I had to say something. DONT WORK HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Plenty of autonomy, which is rare for junior roles within IB Team based environment that fosters a culture of inclusion and collaboration High degree of potential to be promoted based on merit and tenure The work life balance is far better than other M&A seats at bulge bracket banks

Cons

There can be a longer sales cycle, however that can vary based on due diligence done by the associate and the desire for a liquidity event by the client
