Pros

Offers the best brands of Nestle Ice Cream. Company car and doesn't hound you about how many stops per day or hours per day...just number of accounts per month...you numbers speak for themselves and keeps you employed. Thats the good side! Get to meet great people in the field from all walks of life...see the city like never before.

Cons

This is a Start up DSD (Sub contractor) that is just learning how to do the business. They have no experience in sales or customer service. No one in the company (but jut a few) have any experience in the Ice Cream sales, distribution or marketing. They do not incorporate common sense. The company is run by "its High Technology" that is ruining its business and hindering their success. The Competitors are far superior. They can have a very long intellectual conversation with a payphone but a real customer is a challenge. This company has no equipment, staff that has any experience in the So Cal market. They will do anything to not to pay commissions even after they say they would. They hold you accountable for other department’s actions and ineptness. They do not tell you the truth and paint a rosy picture to keep you strung along. There is no upside opportunities. There will be and is going to be high turnover with any ethical, hardworking employee in the field. I could go on but that enough.

Pros

Fast decisions & flexibility Making you feel welcome and a part of the team

Cons

No formalized job descriptions - they will change daily to fit needs, be aware, get let go. Fast decisions that are not thought out long term Lack of accountability - on employee and trainer and management side I saw boxes of files on released employees when I started - be cautious. I have college degree and 10 years solid food industry experience. Let go not based on job performance but just a restructure. After being in the job 6 months mind you.

Pros

absolutely nothing at all. it gets worse every month. you get pay cuts every month

Cons

family owned business where the owners sons have tooken over and do not know one thing about a route sales rep. they have never been on a truck or have ever handled any products. they hire their family and friends who also don't know a damn thing about the job and get these big positions in the company calling shots that are out of this world and expect to meet goals. they expect their employees to work over 12 hours a day minimum to meet sales goals while on the other hand these guys in the office who are calling shots are off no later then 3pm. this is not a career i have seen guys come and go. no one stays on. they are desperate for drivers and still are not willing to change their ways.
