Pros

Good product with potential Amazing team, talented and supportive Some really strong and loyal customers

Cons

Many professionals are drawn to this company by promises of impressive growth, competitive salaries, and the resources needed to succeed. Unfortunately, the reality doesn't always align with these expectations. There is limited room for meaningful discussions around strategy, P&L, or budgets. In my experience, I was unexpectedly replaced after discovering that another person had been added to the team to do the same job—a scenario that occurs more often than it should. At first, you're given the freedom to create ambitious plans and test new approaches. However, after a few months, the CEO tends to pivot the strategy, reducing the scope of your efforts to about 15% of the original plan, often with little to no budget, yet the targets remain unchanged. There’s a palpable sense of insecurity, occasional incompetence, and a lack of knowledge that, unfortunately, limits the company’s ability to grow. I witnessed several product launches that were quickly forgotten and saw vanity metrics celebrated instead more meaningful results

Pros

- I have been incredibly impressed with the team since joining. - It’s amazing to see everyone band together to achieve strong product releases, with revamped code base. - My direct leader listens to my input. - I have the autonomy to make suggestions that would be heard.I absolutely feel that way here; I’ve made multiple suggestions that have been taken seriously. - I have the freedom to provide input into which projects I undertake. - The product is great, the ecosystem is growing around the creative economy, and it’s honestly a lot of fun working with sports, entertainment companies. - The team is highly collaborative, and I felt welcomed right away as I ramped up. - There are many talented people at Arena, and working with them every day is a pleasure. - The product-market fit is strong, and the sky really is the limit here specially with companies moving audiences from social media to their sites.

Cons

- Like any startup, there are some growing pains. - I don’t have any major cons, but I believe interdepartmental communication could be improved. - We have a few key leadership positions to fill. Once filled, these roles will greatly benefit the team as everyone settles in

Pros

I was the first sales guy in the company, started as an SDR. I was hired by the CEO. Incredibly thankful to be part of the Arena team. - Learned a lot, I was able to go from SDR to an AE closing deals for latam and global. - Initial interview process seemed lengthy, but it's well-structured. I was hired by the ceo. - Everyone I've met is exceptionally nice. - Positive aspects include pay, and virtual work environment - Feels included despite on the sales team and 60% of the company are developers. - I helped to build the playbook from scratch, from inside sales to enterprises. - Strong focus on Diversity & Inclusion - CEO Paulo is hands-on, encouraging, and makes team members feel valued - Many genuine and nice people at the company. I was working with customer success (amazing people), developers for implementation, etc. - Grateful for the company and its people, I spent 4 years and I only left because I found another position working with my other passion.

Cons

It could be a result of remote work, but teams often operate in silos, leading to releases or ideas that aren't fully collaborated on with the affected teams. Social events and team bonding have become less frequent in the remote work culture. Also, I'd love to have the opportunity to fly to other countries to close deals with the ceo.
