Pros
I was the first sales guy in the company, started as an SDR. I was hired by the CEO. Incredibly thankful to be part of the Arena team. - Learned a lot, I was able to go from SDR to an AE closing deals for latam and global. - Initial interview process seemed lengthy, but it's well-structured. I was hired by the ceo. - Everyone I've met is exceptionally nice. - Positive aspects include pay, and virtual work environment - Feels included despite on the sales team and 60% of the company are developers. - I helped to build the playbook from scratch, from inside sales to enterprises. - Strong focus on Diversity & Inclusion - CEO Paulo is hands-on, encouraging, and makes team members feel valued - Many genuine and nice people at the company. I was working with customer success (amazing people), developers for implementation, etc. - Grateful for the company and its people, I spent 4 years and I only left because I found another position working with my other passion.
Cons
It could be a result of remote work, but teams often operate in silos, leading to releases or ideas that aren't fully collaborated on with the affected teams. Social events and team bonding have become less frequent in the remote work culture. Also, I'd love to have the opportunity to fly to other countries to close deals with the ceo.
