Pros

- excellent benefits like health insurance and reimbursements of some work from home items and education. -yearly company retreat with awesome networking opportunities. - friendly people overall who are wll established and passionate about energy. - fun office with lots of free food in a good location. -exit opportunities

Cons

Arevon is a company that looks great from the outside and attracts a lot of the top people around from energy industry veterans to Ivy League graduates who look for the top employers and it shows. And while it looks good on the outside that is about it. Arevon does have a good purpose overall with what they are trying to to do with renewable energy. However, they falls flat in how it operates by department. Turn over is very high mostly due to the unfair policy of who gets to work remote. I have seen people with two years experience get to stay where they are originally and move anywhere across the country to wherever because they want to while others are at the top of their field with many years experience be forced to stay in the office because one person at the top wants them to stay. Pay is not very competitive. Well it's not bad, other places do pay more for those starting out. Also, workload can be a nightmare or a breeze depending on what department or team you're on. Add all the unfairness of remote work, lower starting pay, and workload you get a company with high turnover especially those in accounting and finance. Leadership tries to come up with "unique" benefits to try and get people to stay but there is little motivation to actually get them to be loyal.
