Pros

None. Stay far, far away.

Cons

I never thought I'd witness such a catastrophic train wreck until the merger between michelada.io and ArkusNexus came along. If there were ever a case study on how to utterly destroy a once-thriving company, this would be it. From the moment ArkusNexus took over, it's been nothing short of a horror show. The culture clash is so palpable that you can practically taste the bitterness in the air. It's like they tried to impose their outdated and rigid corporate practices onto a creative and innovative team that was once michelada.io. The result? A complete disaster. First off, communication has become an absolute nightmare. Gone are the days of open collaboration and free-flowing ideas. Now it's all about endless meetings, convoluted email chains, and contradictory directives from management. It's as if ArkusNexus is actively trying to stifle any form of creativity and drown it in bureaucracy. But that's not even the worst part. The talent drain has been unprecedented. The best minds that once made michelada.io the success it was have been fleeing like rats from a sinking ship. Who can blame them? Nobody wants to be a part of a company where their talents are squandered, their ideas are dismissed, and their voices are silenced. And let's not forget about the "benefits" they promised. It's like they hired a team of experts to find the absolute worst perks possible. Thanks for nothing, ArkusNexus. I could go on and on about the countless ways ArkusNexus has managed to dismantle everything that made michelada.io great, but I'll spare you the agony. All I can say is, if you're considering working here, don't. Save yourself the frustration, disappointment, and heartache. The merger hasn't just brought chaos; it has revealed a sinister underbelly. Reports of gender discrimination, sexual harassment, and an exclusive VIP sphere have emerged, tarnishing any remaining semblance of respectability. Female employees are left without support to climb the ladder while enduring lower compensation. Shockingly, even cases of sexual harassment have been brushed under the rug to protect the company's image. ArkusNexus has taken a vibrant and innovative company and turned it into a soul-sucking corporate nightmare. The toxic culture, gender discrimination, sexual harassment, and blatant favoritism are beyond reprehensible. If you value your self-respect, well-being, and professional growth, run – don't walk – away from this sinking ship. Your career and mental health are worth far more than anything this abhorrent organization could ever offer.

Pros

Good opportunities of growth if you are friendly with the CEO's inner circle.

Cons

There's a constant fear atmosphere if you don't agree 100% with the CEO. Some of us got proposed (very much forced) to move to one of the new HQ's so the CEO could have control over a recently acquired company, using pressure and many manipulation tactics to convince us to leave Tijuana. Many benefits were promised; it's been almost 2 years since we were told there was going to be either a promotion or a raise to those who were willingly accepting the proposal. Some of us were even given loans to help with our personal projects, such as houses, apartments rental and cars, with a lower interest rate than banks, and we obviously accepted then because we had no choice. Of course, this has been used against us to deny us from getting a fair salary and other percs, saying we already got a lot from the company and that we should be grateful. As for now I have many mental health issues and developed a substances abuse problem; I have been even asked them for help, but I am forced by contract to either stay here otherwise I won't be able to pay for the things they have helped me for. It was not a wise decision but was the only thing I could do back then. I have been spending these years convincing coworkers about the good intentions of our CEO in many places where we have HQ's, but sometimes I don't even know if this is true. I no longer know where the company values end and mine start, this has brought me to a very dark place and the longer the worse it gets. I really hope if anyone sees this, to avoid sinking as deep as I did.

Pros

There are some good engineers on the company, and the working environment with them is excellent

Cons

Seems the worst at your job you are, the most possibilities you have at ascending the leader A couple of our partners presented issues with the Tax Organization, legally all of them appear under 4 different organizations, although they have been ONLY working on Arkus, when they asked about it, they were met with silence. Payment has been delayed a couple of times, due to the client we are working with is presenting financial problems, we even have been asked to ask the client to pay the due bills. Why are we being punished for the client's problems? Upper management seems to be there only to get pay, there are problems on all departments, and the new hires or the ones with less experienced on those departments are the ones facing all the backlash. The former CEO, at one of the company reunions, got drunk and sexually harass a female partner, our partner had to leave the company, yet the former CEO didn't face any backlash. He stepped down however is still part of upper management and any new ideas or changes have to go through him
