The work environment is very hectic, with weekly sprints and multiple tickets assigned daily to each Dev and QA. Nearly everyone has several priorities, which is typical in a startup.
However, if something is overlooked, it leads to numerous questions. Sometimes the limited time—less than an hour per ticket—affects the quality. Each story often requires 2-3 approaches; if not provided, the person is asked the same questions on internal Slack, sometimes in tone not suitable for a public setting. Much of the architecture is already established, and while developers—including interns—have some freedom, most decisions are highly opinionated with little room for significant changes. This can sometimes diminish productivity.
