Pros

Arogga employs a number of talented and experienced engineers and business professionals, creating a strong pool of colleagues. The CTO and COO are described as having a vision for the company, suggesting potential for future direction if challenges are overcome. There is some level of recognition for employee contributions, though this seems inconsistent with recent actions.

Cons

Arogga have done an abrupt mass layoffs (over 100 employees) during Ramadan severely damaged morale and created widespread job insecurity among remaining staff. Many laid-off employees were reportedly denied their Eid bonus because they weren't considered "permanent," a move perceived as highly unfair and demoralizing. They also have failed to implement promised yearly salary reviews, which were highlighted as a key benefit during recruitment, feeling like a bait-and-switch. As many employees laid-off a significant increase in workload for the remaining employees following the layoffs, without any adjustment in compensation. Again zero apparent investment in employee professional development, training, or growth opportunities, leaving staff feeling stagnant. Management consistently deflects employee concerns with excuses about "lack of funding" or "no investors," rather than addressing issues directly or transparently. Basic perks, like subsidized lunches, have been cut back or eliminated, further eroding employee satisfaction. The work environment has become toxic, characterized by fear, overwork, broken promises, and a general lack of trust in leadership. The actual experience falls drastically short of the innovative, growth-oriented startup image portrayed during the hiring process.

Pros

Collaborative and supportive team culture that fosters cooperation among colleagues. Opportunities for professional growth and career advancement within the company. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits offered to employees. Flexible work arrangements, including options for remote work. Transparent and approachable leadership that encourages open communication. Access to cutting-edge technology and tools for employees to use in their roles

Cons

Arogga Ltd. suffers from poor management and unstable workplace policies that create an unpredictable and insecure environment for employees. Transparency is lacking, and arbitrary terminations without clear justification are common, which severely impacts morale and trust. The company needs to adopt more structured and professional employee management practices to improve its work culture.
