The thing that stands out the most to me is the culture of the organisation. Never before have I worked for a company where a team of people are so aligned to the company values. Ask any one of the team, and they will be able to list all of Arowana's core values and characteristics, as it is ingrained into how we work. Personally, this has aligned positively for me, as it creates a want mindset, rather than a need to work mindset.

The company has a diverse range of people from operations specialists to entrepreneurs, who have owned their own businesses. Management is very involved and act as mentors. I’d describe the team as unique and knowledgeable with a broad skillset. You learn so much from working with them. The work is exciting and meaningful. Being employed by a B Corp gives confidence that the work you are doing is making a difference. Being a global team, there is also a lot of workplace flexibility which is great. The team practices rigorous transparency and you are trusted to hit your goals on time, all while encouraging flexibility in how you work. There is a strong focus on training with sessions scheduled quarterly, focusing on interesting topics such as AI/ML and cybersecurity, as well as courses to support the area of the business you work in.
