The employer creates a toxic work environment. He micromanages everything to a ridiculous degree. Unreasonable deadlines are set for completion of tasks and the employer refuses to admit that this is a cause of poor work quality. You are given very limited training or support and get little to no interaction with coworkers. Special reference must be made to the conduct of the employer towards his employees. Although he appears polite and friendly at first, the employer is the most difficult part of the job. He constantly berates staff, calling them stupid and expressing bewilderment when they don't meet his exceedingly high standards. He openly treats men and women differently and repetitively remarked on the racial traits of one coworker, despite requests to stop. He also demonstrated a nasty, vindictive streak when our professional relationship broke down. Frankly my experience at this workplace destroyed my confidence at the time and is the worst environment for a graduate seeking to begin their career.
