Pros
At Astel Ventures I work with startups and investors on a daily basis to help with fundraise and co-investment opportunities. The team is small, which creates a good chemistry among team members, and allows for direct communication with management. If you like responsibility and growth potential, this is a position that will be great for you.
Cons
Given the nature of the industry, this is a fast paced space, and a position within the company would not cater to someone that does not like responsibility.

- You work with some of the most interesting early stage founders in the world - The work you do truly matters to the clients and the success can be make or break for the clients future - You get to continuously learn about whats happening across various industries in the world in terms of innovation and disruption - The colleagues truly are investing in putting the client first
Cons
- Some clients can be challenging to work with and it can hamper your chance to successfully close good deals - Some aspects of the role can be manual in nature but the company is trying its best to leverage AI and other automated tools available to make it more seamless - Very high level of multi tasking and efficient project management is needed otherwise many things end up slipping through - Sometimes its hard to do thorough due diligence about early stage startups before the onboarding stage
