Pros

There are no pros unless you consider micromanagement and "mentorship" by sorry individuals who have nothing better to do with their lives, a pro! mentorship is put under quotes to allude to the fact that the ones "mentoring" you will, almost on a daily basis display the highest level of hypocrisy.

Cons

Highly ego driven environment. Everyone here is on a power trip, not sure what gives them the confidence, because there really is nothing to show. 1. If you are someone who has creative ideas and genuinely wants to learn, or apply your mind - best not to join. But, if you want to produce deliverables solely based on AI outputs, use AI for every single thing, to the point of writing follow up emails with AI, and numb your brains - then you will have a great time here. 2. If you want to work long hours with no work life balance or boundaries, then feel free to join - because that is guaranteed. While the work culture in india generally reflects this, it may actually benefit your career to put in longer hours at a company that people know, doing work that matters - which is 100% not the case here. 3. they pay below market rate and convince you they are offering the best deal. not the case. do not fall for it. if you want to work for chump change (at any level, entry, mid, senior), then sure, why not. 4. high attrition rates - both employees and clients.

THE SCIENCE OF STUPID

Pros

I want to echo a 2017 review of this company, which still resonates today and will continue resonating FOREVER - on pros, "none, if you are treated badly how can there be any pros?". This company and its CEO + founder have a complete disregard for their colleagues and are the most unprofessional adults ever. They will hold a grudge just because. They have not achieved anything so monumental in life that gives them the amount of self righteousness they project. Honestly seems like delusions of grandeur, i pray for your mental health.

Cons

Multiple. Again, do read the 2017 review as every word holds true even today, 9 years later- this is proof that this company is SYSTEMICALLY ROTTEN to its core, because it has been run by the same management who lacks basic decency. 1. 13 people have left over the last year, and before that from 2024-2025 it was the same story where all the senior people resigned, with one person legitimately experiencing burn out to the point they still have not joined the workforce. 2. Nobody in the industry respects the CEO, in fact CEO had a falling out with one of India's biggest conglomerates in his early years so that goes on to show the complete disregard the man has in general, in life. 3. They do continuously humiliate their employees, pass unacceptable comments on a daily basis - leadership will work extra hard to break you down and make you feel like you're not good enough, and for what? the kind of work they do for clients is NOT ALL THAT. it is very low level work- make a deck, make briefing note, beg for a meeting with the govt. 4. senseless policing and micromanaging- every single one in the management team (which is like half the company since they dont have employees), is stuck up on pointless things like dont keep your backpack on the desk, dont keep a goatee, dont have a piercing if you're a man, dont wear a kurta...list goes on! 4. CEO is very HANDSY, he thinks he can get a pass just because hes an old man but him pulling women employee's cheeks, patting them extremely HARD on the back, ruffling their hair like theyre a child, and light SLAPS are subtle acts of dominance he does periodically. Not acceptable. 5. This company is genuinely run by sick people.

Pros

At a loss of words for how appalling this entire company is.

Cons

- you will never gain any real exposure unless you're a family member employed at Astrum, or someone who can perhaps "charm" either of the Singla men. -"work is generally varied" translates to, essentially, there are no clear verticals within the firm (a) because they lack clients and (b) the partner and leadership are controlling and highly ego-driven, they keep belittling each other either publicly or behind closed doors, and the leadership wants to revamp internal processes like a simple weekly/monthly report every 15 days cause they are that bored of life. -feedback is a never ending stand-off between the associates, their managers, and the leadership. the leadership likes to boast about how four revisions is light work, and that 10 revisions is normal for something the client is bound to not even read. The feedback and revision process basically comprises of each person above you putting your work into AI and "refining the language" to "showcase intent" - there are no longterm clients. they will all leave or express disappointment, just like their employees who keep resigning. - the work "culture" and "values" here are that you will be expected to sit in a review at 6pm, address all comments by 8pm, then get bashed by leadership at 10pm, rework till 12am, all for it to not even go out to the client xD
