Pros

There are no pros unless you consider micromanagement and "mentorship" by sorry individuals who have nothing better to do with their lives, a pro! mentorship is put under quotes to allude to the fact that the ones "mentoring" you will, almost on a daily basis display the highest level of hypocrisy.

Cons

Highly ego driven environment. Everyone here is on a power trip, not sure what gives them the confidence, because there really is nothing to show. 1. If you are someone who has creative ideas and genuinely wants to learn, or apply your mind - best not to join. But, if you want to produce deliverables solely based on AI outputs, use AI for every single thing, to the point of writing follow up emails with AI, and numb your brains - then you will have a great time here. 2. If you want to work long hours with no work life balance or boundaries, then feel free to join - because that is guaranteed. While the work culture in india generally reflects this, it may actually benefit your career to put in longer hours at a company that people know, doing work that matters - which is 100% not the case here. 3. they pay below market rate and convince you they are offering the best deal. not the case. do not fall for it. if you want to work for chump change (at any level, entry, mid, senior), then sure, why not. 4. high attrition rates - both employees and clients.

Pros

Fast paced environment, very little people in team, so you basically do everything so you get to learn new skills daily. The finance team is very helpful and great.

Cons

It often feels like credibility here is tied less to competence and more to who you are. If your last name isn’t “Singla,” you’re treated as interchangeable, regardless of the work you put in. The pressure itself isn’t unusual for this kind of environment, but what stands out is the culture around it, where verbal and psychological strain seem to be part of the daily routine. Senior leadership frequently undermines each other, and that tone trickles down in ways that make the workplace unnecessarily hostile. Working under certain partners can be especially difficult. There’s a pattern of excessive rework, coupled with dismissive or demeaning feedback, which makes even routine tasks exhausting. There also appears to be a deep lack of trust, extending to situations where even personal leave is questioned or informally verified. In one instance, a colleague was publicly singled out in a meeting for not engaging in a line of questioning that felt inappropriate, which created an uncomfortable and avoidable situation. Incidents like these don’t feel isolated. The broader atmosphere reflects this. It’s not uncommon to see people visibly distressed throughout the day, whether in private corners or shared spaces. Morale remains consistently low, and there’s a perception that growth opportunities are uneven, with promotions sometimes delayed or redirected in ways that don’t feel entirely merit-based.

Pros

At a loss of words for how appalling this entire company is.

Cons

- you will never gain any real exposure unless you're a family member employed at Astrum, or someone who can perhaps "charm" either of the Singla men. -"work is generally varied" translates to, essentially, there are no clear verticals within the firm (a) because they lack clients and (b) the partner and leadership are controlling and highly ego-driven, they keep belittling each other either publicly or behind closed doors, and the leadership wants to revamp internal processes like a simple weekly/monthly report every 15 days cause they are that bored of life. -feedback is a never ending stand-off between the associates, their managers, and the leadership. the leadership likes to boast about how four revisions is light work, and that 10 revisions is normal for something the client is bound to not even read. The feedback and revision process basically comprises of each person above you putting your work into AI and "refining the language" to "showcase intent" - there are no longterm clients. they will all leave or express disappointment, just like their employees who keep resigning. - the work "culture" and "values" here are that you will be expected to sit in a review at 6pm, address all comments by 8pm, then get bashed by leadership at 10pm, rework till 12am, all for it to not even go out to the client xD
