Pros
My co-workers; having some benefits (but expensive); PTO (but includes all holidays so deceiving); convenient as far as location to home; a paycheck; company still open for now
Cons
Too many to list them all here but a few facts instead of the management planted gossip for everyone: Our supervisor told us to go online to Glassdoor and submit positive reviews to counter the negative ones. We were told they had received this request from a VP who also happens to be best friends with the CEO and probably doesn't like her friend being mentioned in negative reviews all the time. I'm entering my review but I won't lie to create a positive and fake review to ease the conscience of a CEO. The underlying environment at this company thanks to leadership is one of fear, intimidation, cursing by the CEO in meetings, passive aggressive behavior. The owner is aware and everyone is completely shocked at his inability or desire to fix the problems. Makes us all wonder why. People stay here because it is a job but will jump ship when he first chance comes. There was a recent post by a therapy assistant in Mesquite. A highly positive one but it isn't surprising that at the time of the positive review there was no therapy assistant in Mesquite. Hmm. The therapists and nurses who have left to go to competitors are sharing with their new company the scary details of the leadership of the CEO. Our competitors know what kind of place this is so the reputation of At Home is not a good one all across the state. We know it's a bad environment when people avoid coming into the office or branch when we are told that the CEO will be there. This same leadership is quick to throw others under the train if it means saving her own neck. There are tries at hurting other people's reputation but it is always known that this will happen and people don't believe the lies and it only hurts hers and the company's. One simple change in the leadership could change the future of this company.
