      Marketing, HR, not so much healthcare

      Pros

      An easy place to work if you are in the right clique

      Cons

      Directors and management are marketing and sales people with little or no idea about healthcare, health psych or the technology they rely on. The company regularly cuts staff in various country offices (US, UK, AU, DE, ESP) order to maintain cash flow back to NZ main office. Sales teams and marketing are ineffective. HR relies on heavy handed, outdated motivational and surveillance strategies, lip service paid to staff development

      Great company - it just needs a bit of direction

      Pros

      Fascinating content. Great clients. Intellectually stimulating. Smart and driven team. Colleagues that enjoy challenging each other and the status quo. There's an incredible dedication internally to provide the best service and programs ... the common motivation for (most of) us is that what we do is for the patient. Small company with 'can-do' attitude enough to move mountains! Very niche market with enormous potential.

      Cons

      Big issues with senior management and technology. The downside of being a small company with such energy and large expectations of deliverables is over-promising to the client- a lack of understanding of internal resources, process and technology necessary to achieve those deliverables... meaning that those in charge of delivering and designing a project are constantly scrambling and working themselves flat.
