Pros

None. Absolute zero. Don't walk away, run!!!!! This business is run by clowns!!!! From the owner down to all the VPs. They couldn't even tell when they were getting embezzled or would even listen when they were being told they were getting robbed by their upper management in their south texas division. Then when they finally find out, they fire 3 but leave the 4th because he is higher up on the corporate ladder. Then that person single handly runs it into the ground. My my my. Such a shame. I can't believe I even worked for this company. I take extremely hot showers everyday and I still feel dirty from having worked there. This company sucks sooo much that they even have to respond on glassdoor for themselves about how great a company they are. No one that has actually worked there will write that kind of review for them. You're not fooling anyone Sam and Bob!

Cons

Everything is a con about this place!! RUN CHILD!!! RUN!!!!

Pros

Working at Atlas Oil in Houston has been an incredibly disappointing experience. The owner often makes promises he doesn’t keep, saying you’ll be rewarded when the company does well, but then you have to fight tooth and nail for the bonus he promised. It’s incredibly frustrating to see him try to renegotiate something he already committed to. He thinks taking you out to dinner and then adding the cost back to you is “doing the right thing,” but it just feels like a slap in the face, or worse, kicking you while you’re down. The work culture is toxic beyond belief. There are cameras in the office watching your every move, adding to the uncomfortable atmosphere. The company seems to reward those who make the environment unbearable. The owner’s behavior often appears narcissistic, and he seems to favor others with similar tendencies. They are the only ones who manage to stay, but even they try to leave and become bitter when they can’t, making the workplace even more insufferable. Despite his talk about investing in the company, the owner consistently short-changes employees, leading to widespread dissatisfaction, plummeting morale, and massive turnover. He surrounds himself with management and legal staff who seem out of their depth, lacking both the industry knowledge and understanding of the Houston market. It’s clear that he makes grand promises of bonuses to them as well, likely funded by taking away from those who actually deserve it, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he fails to pay them either. Contracts do not seem to provide protection, as they are often breached, creating an unstable work environment. Overall, Atlas Oil operates unethically, showing a blatant lack of respect for employees. This behavior, combined with incompetent management and a suffocatingly toxic environment, makes it a truly dreadful place to work. If you value your sanity and integrity, steer clear of this company.

Cons

If you enjoy taking PTO while your power is out and you really want to work without AC hot spotting to your laptop, it will be great.

Pros

You get free popcorn and soda.....

Cons

Seriously Run, this place is lipstick on a pig. The toxic practices of management and owner are the most disgusting traits. no woman will ever get ahead in this ol boys club. Shading dealings, over expecting, over working, NOT paying overtime when it is due. NO one cares about the customers or their needs. Just greed, lies, and managers who have NO people skills and are self-preservationists who would throw their reports under the bus in a heartbeat to save their skin(jobs). Yes men who flatter the ego of the most egotistical owner on the planet. No wonder he can't keep an assistant and treats his family like employees, oh wait they are all employees who do nothing but cower and grovel at his feet like he is god, please. And speaking of squandering money, all the millions spent on coaches, bad spontaious decisions and private jets while some employees(the women) never see a raise or bonus...yet they work harder than all the men combined and are not even acknowledged for the late nights, early mornings, creep into personal time. And the mental status of every person that finally had enough and left we call should have been compensated, but oh they don't give out your severance, they just keep it...
