    I worked at Australian Army full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    The team, camaraderie and variation of work. As a Combat Engineer I was able to learn and be exposed to a broad range of skills and experiences ranging from construction tasks, mine clearance, demolitions, watermanship and water purification.

    Cons

    Constant change of leadership, young leaders with good intentions not being mentored effectively, therefore delivered poorly. Performance Reviews. Work life balance isn't a thing, nor should you expect it to be really.
